What is the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers?
As reputable commercial brokers, FC Funding is proud to be a member of the NACFB - the UK’s largest independent trade body for commercial finance brokers.
The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers or NACFB for short, is the UK’s largest independent trade body for commercial finance brokers – the organisation is currently made up of over 2,000 commercial finance brokers across the whole of the UK, and we are proud to announce that FC Funding is now one of them!
What is the advantage of using a NACFB broker?
1. Professional standards and security
Brokers who are members of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) are all required to have Full or Limited Consumer Credit Permission, Professional Indemnity Insurance, and a Data Protection Licence.
2. Expert financial guidance
There are more types of finance available to SMEs than most business owners realise. An NACFB broker may find a solution that serves the individual business needs with a more suitable and cost-effective solution.
We recognise that business owners are the experts of their company and sector, however obtaining finance can be quite a complicated matter. It can be confusing to understand the difference between all the different options, interest rates and repayment choices on the market, and thus finding an experienced broker that can navigate you through all of this can prove even more difficult. All NACFB members are required to have a strong track record with nationally recognised lenders so you don’t need to worry about lack of experience.
Additionally, NAFCB brokers generally have a good working relationship with more than one lender. This means that through their knowledge and expertise they will match a borrower’s requirements with the most appropriate lender operating in the market.
4. We are regulated
The NACFB works to regulate it’s brokers (all 2,000 of us) and ensures that we follow a code of conduct which was formally recognised by the Office of Far Trading in 1994.
